Round 5, Pick 137Jesse Williams slipping into the fifth round was unbelievable. Williams was the anchor of the Alabama Crimson Tide, the defending national champions. He is strong as an ox and is extremely hard to move. He clogs up the middle and will take two blockers to handle him. He was considered one of the best run stoppers in this draft and the Seahawks were able to grab the first round talent in the fifth round. Williams doesn't offer much pass rushing ability, but he will stop the runner in his tracks when the offense is trying to run the ball at him. The only problem I have with this pick is that I think Williams is more suited to play nose tackle at the next level. He has experience in the five technique, however since the Seahawks run a 4-3 defense I'm not sure where Williams fits in. Although he was projected to play nose tackle I'm sure the Seahawks will have a good package for Williams to participate in. Williams will probably be a rotational player at first and won't put up eye-popping numbers, but he will make a difference on an already impressive defense by improving the run defense.
