NFL: Early Predictions For The AFC

By Michael Potts /

Jacksonville Jaguars

Continuing with the AFC South, the Jags and their first round 2015 Draft pick were dealt a cruel blow. Highly-rated pass rusher Dante Fowler Jr. was ruled out for his entire rookie season after suffering an ACL tear, leaving the Jaguars in the lurch with regards to 2015. QB Blake Bortles needs to step up and provide a more reliable platform for his youthful team, who are going in the right direction with some bright additions, but may struggle to make a real impact on the league this season. Julius Thomas is a great signing for the Jags, but he won't be enough to single-handedly haul them from the doldrums of the AFC South. 2015 Record: 3-13 (3rd in AFC South)
