Most people would say that Burnleys Danny Ings is striker that can play as an attacking midfielder, and its tough to disagree with that assessment given he is more of a goalscorer than a provider. However, Norwich have only scored 18 goals from 23 league games this season the third worst record in the league. Therefore, a player that can be utilized in the Hoolahan hole that scores goals seems a pretty good option to me. The further advantage of Ings is he can also be utilized as a central striker as well if Hughton wanted to pair him with Gary Hooper or Ricky van Wolfswinkel. This season the 21-year-old has been in superb form with 16 goals scored from his 25 league games with two assists also coming. Further stats include 3.6 shots, 1.3 key passes and 0.8 dribbles per match. Taking everything into account, Ings would be a fine addition to the Norwich squad even if he came at the expense of losing Hoolahan.
