NUFC Transfer News: Andre Ayew "Dreams" Of Playing In Premier League
The Marseille forward is being courted by the Magpies - and he seems interested.
"My dream come true was to play for Marseille, now I have a dream to become a better player, to try and do what I did in France, in another league, maybe in England. "In the Premier League there is a lot of intensity. It is very-tough physically with a lot of running, a lot of intelligent players, a league where there is a lot of goals. "You can show your best because you are playing with very good players and very good teams. It is a league I feel if I am fully fit, and everything (is) okay, I can do what I have to do - which is show myself in one of the biggest leagues in the world. "I don't know what my future is yet - I will sit down with the (Marseille) president in the next few weeks."Ayew, who has progressed through the youth ranks at Marseille, enjoyed loan spells at Lorient and Arles-Avignon before making his real breakthrough into his parent club's first-team side in 2010. He has made 249 career appearances to date, scoring 64 goals, including 57 in 187 for Marseille. The winger has also netted 11 times in 62 internationals for Ghana.
