His work-rate, or lack thereof, is incredibly frustrating, but he does score when given the chance (see his 5 goals against Blackburn last season). Just don't expect him to create the chance for himself. That said, he does excel at holding the ball up in attacking positions, but that could just be because he can't be bothered running with it himself. After allegedly snubbing a plane from Fiorentina on deadline day after agreeing to leave, he has now been reunited with manager Martin Jol, after playing for him at Tottenham all those years ago, and their previous partnership is already showing with 2 goals and 1 assist in just 3 league games so far. Though it pains me to say it, he is still a clinical striker, and one who could fire Fulham to glory on his own. That said, this season he might not need to do everything by himself...
