Premier League Transfers: 10 Championship Players Teams Should Buy

10. Joe Worrall (Nottingham Forest)

Despite falling down the pecking order at the end of last season, 21-year-old Joe Worrall is rated as one of the best young defenders in the Championship. Worrall broke into the Nottingham Forest first team back in the 2016-17 season and established himself as one of the side's finest players over the last twelve months, appearing 31 times in the league and scoring his first goal for the club as well.

Earning favourable comparisons with former Tottenham star and England international Michael Dawson, Worrall has been tracked by Premier League clubs including Everton and Burnley. He's got a contract with Forest until 2020 but a mid-table Premier League side could be tempted to cut that contract short with an offer this summer. Worrall would surely welcome a move and Forest seem to have prepared for his potential departure with a few defensive reinforcements added in recent weeks.

A smart passer of the ball with excellent positioning and a lot of potential, Worrall was named as the second best player with the England U20 side at the prestigious Toulon Tournament last year. He has all he needs to grow into a top tier defender and could represent a shrewd investment for a top flight side.
