West Ham United have accepted an official bid from QPR for their England International midfielder Scott Parker. The player has appeared in all three of West Ham's games in the Championship this season, scoring one goal in the process, but West Ham always looked likely to let their high earning midfielder return to the Premiership. The agreed fee for Parker is said to be anywhere between £4 million to £8 million and any deal close to the latter figure has got to be seen as a good deal for West Ham for a player who turns 31 next month. No matter how influential and important Parker is to the Hammers, they have a good enough squad to get themselves promoted and it always seemed to be a battle to try and get as high a fee as possible rather than a desperate attempt to keep him. Meanwhile, QPR are set to announce on Thursday morning that Malaysian airline entrepreneur Tony Fernandes has completed a takeover of QPR, acquiring a 66% stake from Bernie Eccleston with Amit Bhatia returning to the club as Vice-Chairman with a 33% stake. Both are fully backing manager Neil Warnock in the transfer market and it's though Parker might not be the only major signing before the end of the transfer window.
