According to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws, Real Madrid are preparing a €225 million bid for Chelsea pair Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard.

Madrid President Florentino Perez is reportedly keen to bring some 'Galacticos' to the Bernabeu following the departures of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

Both Hazard and Courtois have been standout players at the World Cup and with question marks over current number one Keylor Navas and Madrid seemingly resigned to missing out on Kylian Mbappé and Neymar, Los Blancos have turned their focus on to the Chelsea duo instead.

An offer of €170m for Hazard was presented to the Blues the other day, but that has subsequently increased to €225m as they look to sign the 26-year-old Belgian goalkeeper too.

Hazard has always been open about how it's a dream of his to play for Real Madrid, and similarly Courtois has made it clear that he wants to eventually return to Spain in order to be closer to his children.

Following Belgian's third-place playoff win over England, Courtois stated:-

"Where Hazard goes, I go too. We can't be separated."

Well then. Guess that settles it.
