Now dont let my two first points wrongly lead you into assuming that Origin is nothing but a battle, as that is simply not the case. State of Origin over the years has provided numerous moments of magic, and even in the last 10 years, weve had Lockyers fond farewell, the same for Fittler, The return of Andrew Johns to deliver a virtuoso performance in 2005, and Billy Slaters amazing effort in 2004 to name a few, the list really is endless. To keep with origin tradition, Im in no doubt that the 2013 series will have the usual share of magic, and with the amount of great players that will take the field, I think Im fairly right to make that assumption.
