Bongani Khumalo hasn't actually played for Spurs in a competitive match - he's only ever played in friendlies. But this only further serves to prove that he should never have been signed in the first place! The man isn't needed! He's still at the club as we speak, but out on loan at PAOK in Greece where he isn't exactly setting the world on fire. Previous loan spells at Preston and Reading (both in the Championship) have proved unsuccessful too. So at a top Premier League club that boasts a plethora of talented central defenders, the South African was never needed and certainly isn't going to break in to the first team any time soon.
