Spurs: 10 Players Who Should Never Have Worn White

5. Hossam Ghaly

Hossam Ghaly was signed after a relatively decent - if not troubled - spell in Holland at Feyenoord, where he had signed 3 years prior from Eypt's Al Ahly. He made 21 Premiership appearances for Spurs and 35 in total, scoring 3 goals. Ghaly had taken a strop after coming on a substitute and then being substituted himself in a match against Blackburn in which he performed terribly. He threw his shirt in to the crowd, subsequently apologised, but never played for Spurs again. He was shipped out to Derby County on loan, where his performances were mediocre at best. He was never really good enough to play for Spurs and his discipline issues at Feyenoord should have been ample warning to keep away from him. Ghaly is currently 31 years old and back playing at his first club in Egypt.
