Spurs Poll: Will Tottenham Beat West Ham In Premier League Opener?

After losing to the Hammers thrice last season, will Spurs avenge those defeats?

The Premier League kicks off for the 2014-15 season tomorrow and a number of interesting games will be taking place. Louis van Gaal's Manchester United get things underway in the day's early game at home to Swansea City, newly promoted Leicester City take on last season's fifth placed side Everton, Harry Redknapp's Queens Park Rangers return to the Premier League with a home match against Hull City and Spurs' first match under Mauricio Pochettino sees them facing West Ham United - the team who beat them three times last season - at the Boleyn Ground. Spurs fans are hard-pressed to decide what to expect from their team this season. A new manager is in place, so is a new coaching team, but very few new signings have been made and there are a number of players who performed poorly last season who will be expected to improve dramatically in this one - so it is a mixture of transition in some cases and a more settled scenario in others. That said, games against West Ham - even if they are local rival matches in which anything can happen - are games that Spurs fans generally expect the Lilywhites to win. This Saturday will be no different, but will that actually happen? We want your opinions on this. So, when West Ham United entertain Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday the 16th of August, what will happen? Will Spurs win? Will it be a draw? Will West Ham cause yet another upset against the North London side?
