Spurs Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer
10. Kieran Tierney (Celtic)
Admittedly Kieran Tierney isn't the kind of addition that could realistically swing the Premier League title race, at least not for a few years anyway.
For Spurs, however, player recruitment is as much about long-term squad building as it is strengthening the regular starting XI, and there are few youngsters in the British game with the pedigree of Celtic's 20-year-old left-back.
Already a Scotland international of nine caps (stop laughing - that is an achievement when you factor in that he shares a position with Liverpool's Andy Robertson), Tierney has been widely tipped as one of his country's best talents in years.
Having been on the books in Glasgow more than a decade, it is likely that only an offer from one of Europe's top sides will prise him away from Celtic Park. Spurs, for all the jokes, definitely meet that criteria in 2018.
