Just when you've given up any hope of a bus coming at all, four turn up to make Jim White's head explode. With time running out on the latest transfer window, Tottenham appear to have stolen a march on Newcastle United in the race to sign MK Dons midfielder Delle Ali and are closing in on a permanent deal for the prospect. As part of the deal he will be loaned back to MK Dons - the same deal that was apparently on the table with Newcastle. Is that a smart move for Ali and Spurs? For the former, it's an opportunity to play in a side that regularly qualifies for European competition - though it might be difficult to break into the first team at first - and for the latter it's the chance to bring in one of England's biggest talents to cement their future. Meanwhile, Sky Sports have reported that Spurs could be set to move up to four players out. Aaron Lennon is on the verge of a loan move to Stoke, Younes Kaboul is being eyed by Rome and West Ham for a similar temporary move and Sky understand that Emmanuel Adebayor could be available on loan too. Chris Kamara also claims that Capoue is set to move on loan to another Premier League side, though he didn't disclose who. Spurs have also signed up Harry Kane to a new five and a half year deal.
