Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bounce back from two successive defeats - against Liverpool and Inter Milan - to remain firmly in the hunt for a Champions League place. A win will keep them third and send them temporarily five points clear of Chelsea, who kick off an hour later than Spurs, in the Premier League table. Fulham are unbeaten in their last three matches and have only lost two of their last six - both against Manchester United. Only a win against Spurs would keep alive any slim hopes they have of sneaking into Europe next season - and even then their final run in the league would have to be extraordinary.Team News
Spurs will be pleased to welcome back star man Gareth Bale after the Welshman was forced to sit out the Europa League second leg fixture against Milan through suspension, after his theatrics in the first leg. Aaron Lennon, who was a substitute against Inter, courtesy of having just recovered from a hamstring strain, is fit for selection. Also in the squad will be two former Fulham players in the shape of Moussa Dembele and the returning Clint Dempsey - the latter of whom will most likely start the match from the subs bench. Sandro and Younes Kaboul continue to miss out through long-term injuries (both knee). Martin Jol returns to White Hart Lane with a relatively injury free squad. The only notable absentee from the Fulham squad will be Mahamadou Diarra, who is out for the remainder of the season. Dimitar Berbatov adds to the list of connections between the two teams.
