Stone Cold Steve Austin Wants To Face CM Punk At Wrestlemania 28
Stone Cold Steve Austin says that he feels like he has one more match left in him and that he wants to face CM Punk at next year's Wrestlemania 28. He also reveals that he thinks the match would work best if he was a face and Punk was the heel and would only do it if the money was right. Austin was speaking to Aftermath Radio doing promotional duties for his new WWE DVD profile of his career. The Rattlesnake said;

"If it was the right time, right place could I do it (have one more match). Yeah. I got alot of respect for the kid (CM Punk), love the promos he cuts, love his work in the ring. He's a guy that paid his dues, worked his way to top guy status, and I wish him all the best in the world. It's a weird situation right now because he's a babyface and I think he became a babyface too soon, and I would have liked to work him when he was a heel. It comes down to money and what's on the table."Austin and Punk is one of those dream matches that never seems to go away with Punk and Austin frequently commenting that they think they can work a great programme with each other. Another dream match that has been brought up recently involves Austin and Brock Lesnar, especially given their war of words that flamed over twitter recently and their past problems in the company. Interestingly, and I am not sure it's because Lesnar isn't with the company right now, but Austin refers to a potential match with Lesnar completely in the past tense;
"As far as Brock Lesnar goes, I think he's firmly entrenched in the UFC, and I think yes that was the big match to him that he would have liked to have had in the WWE at that time. Hell, I would have loved to have worked with Brock too, had it been done right."You can check out the whole thirty minute plus interview with Austin at this link HERE.
