Sunderland came from two goals down to salvage a point against this season's dark horses Southampton at The Stadium of Light. Jay Rodriquez and Dejan Lovren scored within the opening half hour, before Fabio Borini minutes later and the in form Adam Johnson leveled the scores either side of half time. Black Cats Head Coach Gus Poyet wasn't happy with his side's performance, particularly in the first half: "Nothing was going right for us, if you had said we would get a point early on in the game, I would have taken that. "Absolutely nothing was going for us, and then Fabio Borini scored. You know what a goal can do for a football team and then after half time, the subs changed the game for us they became very aggressive and took their chances so I am very happy for them. "Because i'm crazy, I watched the opening 30 minutes again after the match on DVD and everything was bad. We couldn't pass the ball two yards and we kept giving the ball away, we were second best so lets take the positives, we are in this position for a reason". His Southampton counterpart Mauricio Pochettino was of course the less happier of the two men, having lost two points. He had this to say: "I am disappointed with the result, we deserved to win this one but we leave with one point rather than none. "Unfortunately we have two bad looking injuries and hopefully these injuries aren't as bad as they seem, they are in hospital as we speak and we should find out soon". Here is how we rated today's players, starting with Sunderland...
