Manchester United travel to the Stadium of Light this afternoon knowing that retaining their Premier League title is out of their hands. If Manchester City beat Queens Park Rangers as expected at the Etihad Stadium then United would miss out on the title even with a win over Sunderland unless a freak eight goal swing can be overcome on goal difference. Kick-off at the Stadium of Light is at 3pm and the match will be screened live on Sky Sports in the UK. Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill has no fresh injury concerns going into today's game though Wes Brown (achilles), Sebastian Larsson (hernia) and Kieran Richardson (hernia) still missing. Defender Titus Bramble (achilles) is likely to be on the bench after making his return in the squad against Fulham last week. For Sir. Alex Ferguson's Manchester United, defenders Chris Smalling (groin) and striker Danny Welbeck (ankle) are both missing from the injuries they picked up in the Manchester derby last month. Smalling's injury is one that will need a summer operation that will rule him out of Euro 2012. Phil Jones should partner Rio Ferdinand in the centre of defence.
