Italian striker Borini joined Swansea just in time for their late dash into the Premier League. Borini made 12 appearances and scored 6 goals during his temporary spell from Chelsea. However, Borini rejected the chance to join the Swans in the Premier League, opting to join Parma in Italy. A later move to Roma saw Borini score 7 goals in 16 games, before he was reunited with ex Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool. A loan spell at Sunderland saw Borini score in a League Cup final defeat to Manchester City. Borini remains on the books at Liverpool but his future remains unclear.
