The 20-year-old simply lit up the competition with his natural ability to go past defenders, find open space and create opportunities for his teammates. His effortless, care-free and imaginative performances were a pleasure to watch. According to the attacker, he prizes his game on Portugal's Rui Costa and if the legend had been watching him against Germany in the semi-final he would have been proud. Silva, who played just behind the striker was sublime against the Germans and grabbed a goal after 25 minutes and provided his side with countless opportunities.
