4. John Guidetti

Manchester City released John Guidetti after his contract had expired and despite an extremely good tournament he never really fitted in at the Etihad, playing just one League Cup game in eight years. In Sweden it's a different story. He is simply loved. During the championships he has been the life and soul of Sweden's amazing campaign and no-one represents their gritty, determined and bullish style more than Guidetti. The 23-year-old scored two key goals, one against Italy to get Sweden back on level terms and one from the penalty spot against Denmark. In Sweden€™s 4-4-2 set-up, Guidetti has been their runner, coming deep, pulling wide as well as roaming up top waiting for a ball to run in behind.
