Tottenham Transfer News: Emmanuel Adebayor Signs
Tottenham Hotspur have announced that they have completed the permanent signing of striker Emmanuel Adebayor from Manchester City.

However it has emerged that the hold-up over the transfer was a dispute between Adebayor and the Barclays Premier League champions over his loyalty bonus pay-off, something he seemingly insisted on despite spending the past 18 months of his three years at City on loan at Real Madrid and Tottenham. Spurs fans will be delighted to welcome Adebayor back to the club after their lack of numbers on Saturday showed when they had no support to Jermaine Defoe in Spurs' 2-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle United.
