Tottenham vs Arsenal: 5 Greatest Ever North London Derby Matches

5. Arsenal 4 Spurs 4 €“ League 2008

Harry Redknapp€™s first game in charge of Spurs saw his new club fight back from being 4-2 down with less than 2 minutes of the match to go to snatch a draw in a game in which they were second best for most of the 90 minutes. Much earlier Spurs had taken a spectacular lead through Arsenal old boy David Bentley but were pegged back to 1-1 at the half time break. Arsenal then led 3-1 and 4-2 before the final few minutes when the Gunner€™s fragile defence (sound familiar?) caved in to very late goals from Jenas & Lennon. The Arsenal fans trooped home from the Emirates despondent with the result but also at the thought of what Bentley could go on to deliver across North London having slipped through the net at the Emirates. Although perhaps he failed to truly deliver to his full potential Bentley recently returned to the Emirates as part of the Blackburn Rovers team that knocked Arsenal out of this year€™s FA Cup. Classic examples of the ex player going back to haunt his former club. http://youtu.be/UASYr7lRIZo
