Chris Martin is clearly quite a curious one; the striker is now 25 years old but has quite a lot of experience after making over 200 league appearances. The player previously played for Norwich City and has had loan spells with Luton Town, Crystal Palace and Swindon Town. He is currently playing Championship football for Derby County that are enjoying a very productive season as they currently sit fourth in the league. After scoring 12 league goals already he certainly looks set to have the best season of his career his current club will certainly want to hold on to him as they look to put together a challenge for promotion. Whats interesting here is that Norwich let him go because they felt he lacked the quality to play Premier League football but its hard to ignore his form so far this season. It will certainly be interesting to see what the future holds for him, but if he can keep playing this well then another chance at EPL level is likely to come at some point.
