6. Stevan Jovetic

Manchester City's new signing Stevan Jovetic is another high-profile casualty from World Cup qualifying after Montenegro failed to get out of Group H containing England and Ukraine. The Montenegrin's hopes were in fact dashed by the Three Lions after October's 4-1 defeat at Wembley, a result which confirmed England at least a play-off spot and Montenegro World Cup oblivion. Nevertheless, Jovetic put in a good performance that night, striking the crossbar before Dejan Damjanovic set up a tense finale with 20 minutes left by making it 2-1. Goals from Andros Townsend and Daniel Sturridge would later secure victory for Roy Hodgson's side.
