World Cup 2014: 5 Reasons Why It Should Stay In Brazil

1. The Problems Will Iron Themselves Out

Just to sum things up really, it's worth pointing out that there's plenty of time for Brazil to sort out any problems they may have in preparing for this World Cup. I think there have been plenty of countries in the past where we have had genuine concerns about their ability to host an event like this. Honestly, I don't think there is much to worry about in regards to this particular South American country. Instead of worrying about it, perhaps we should just focus on the spectacle the whole event will be. This is from the great entertainment we are likely to see off the field to the superb Brazilian quality on it. There will be some superb venues that will be used in 2014; some of those will be newly built arenas €“ while others will be older. A big renovation program has also been in process to ensure that Brazil is in the best possible shape for the World Cup. The most famous venue in Brazil is of course the Maracana based in Rio de Janeiro, and I'm very excited about top-level football being played there again. It has been renovated and now has a capacity of 78,838, it's worth noting that it will also be used for the Olympic Games in 2016.
