5. Stop The Presses! Popeye's Out Of Chicken!

Yeah. It's fried chicken related again. This time, fast food chain Popeye's had been promoting what was, evidently, an extremely popular special offer - to the point where they had run out of chicken and could no longer honor it. For some reason, this was believed to be broadcast worthy news. Furthermore, all the customers interviewed (who seem far too attached to chicken) are black. It all comes across as shifty. Firstly, since when is a chicken shortage at a fast food restaurant anything other than a minor inconvenience? Secondly, it's hard to believe that for the entire time the camera crew was there they didn't interview any white customers. And thirdly, it feels like they picked the dumbest people possible to include in the segment. So was it an intentional attempt to reinforce racial stereotypes? Maybe. Probably... You'd hope accidental but wisdom suggests otherwise. We just don't know. You decide. Yes. No... No wait, yes!
