10 Amazing TV Shows You'll Probably Never Watch Again

10. 24

A formative show from the early years of a golden age of TV, 24 is one of the most addictive, adrenaline-pumping works of entertainment there will ever be in any medium. The endless twists, jaw-dropping high stakes, harrowing moral dilemmas, heart-breaking character deaths, and excruciatingly suspenseful ticking-clock storylines make this real-time thriller a strong contender for the most exciting TV show of all time.

Therefore, it might sound odd to say most are unlikely to rewatch 24 all the way through again, for several reasons.

For starters, there's so much of it, with there being a total of 192 episodes in the original run. Factor in a 2008 TV movie and a 12-episode limited series in 2014, and that's a staggering 205 episodes to get through. Furthermore, while it's an enthralling first viewing, it wouldn't be quite as exciting when you know what's coming, and given how unforgettable this show was at its best, you're likely to remember the plot of each season pretty well.

Additionally, 24 did decline in quality after the fifth season, and certain aspects of it, such as the overuse of Islamic terrorist villains and its frequent torture scenes, have not aged well. As such, even though every and any TV fan should give it a go, 24's not going to be one of those things you keep rewatching - at least, not all the way through.
