The story about a nice clean freak with a mean face and a small girl with a temper to match, Toradora follows what happens when Ryuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka find out about each other’s crushes and make an agreement to help set each other up with them.

With Taiga crushing on Ryuji’s best friend, Yusaku Kitamura, and Ryuji crushing on Taiga’s best friend, Minori Kushieda, the two try numerous times to help each other but with very little success. The two frequently being seen together also leads to several students believing that they are now a couple, which further complicates their plans. Doing what they can to dispel the rumors, it was only a matter of time before their constant meetings and schemes make them realize their own feelings for each other.

Along the way, they both receive their own hilarities and heartaches. Providing many laughs and many tears, Toradora is perhaps the best example of a great romantic comedy anime.
