It's difficult to make up your mind on the former Lord, Beric Dondarrion. Agreeing to fight The Mountain and bring him to justice at the behest of Lord Stark in Season One, he is clearly brave, and tries to live the proper way. Unfortunately things don't quite go to plan. When The Mountain impales him through the chest, things look like they're reaching a conclusion for Beric. That is until he is resurrected by Thoros. From that moment on, he is not quite as honourable as he once was. Still loyal to the memory of Eddard Stark, he becomes a Robin Hood figure of sorts. Unfortunately his repeated escapes from death take a spiritual toll on him, as each resurrection results in another piece of him diminishing. After liberating Arya, he sells her friend Gendry to Mellisandre. This results in mixed feelings for him from Arya, as you would expect. Divisive, complex and memorable, yet limited to so few episodes it's difficult to recall him unless prompted. Another character that falls victim to the scale of the show.
