10 Awesome TV Shows Still To Return In 2016

10. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to be a little hit/miss, which has been the case pretty much all through its lifespan. It started to hit its stride in Season 3, in particular with the episode 4,722 Hours (one of the series' very best), but suffered with some pacing issues as it attempted to handle various plot threads.

Still, it's proved to be entertaining viewing, and there's reason to believe things are going to improve a fair bit in Season 4. Daisy has gone rogue, which should allow her to really develop and push her powers and cement her status as the lead of the series; Coulson is in the field, meaning he can get back to being the character Marvel fans loved in the first place; FitzSimmons are starting a new relationship; there's going to be the impact of Captain America: Civil War; and some guy called Ghost Rider is turning up.

Perhaps best of all, though, is that the show is moving to a later timeslot, meaning it can go a bit darker and explore some more adult themes, something the addition of Ghost Rider will help with, while he'll also give it a more Marvel feel as well.
