When Jesse discovers that his friend Combo was murdered by his ex-girlfriend€™s brother, he also discovers that Tomas was put up to it by a couple of local gangbangers. After failing to kill them using poisoned cheeseburgers (classic Jesse move), he learns that they are protected employees of Gustav Fring, who calls Jesse and the gangbangers into his office for an angry headmaster, shake hands and be friends scenario. Gus makes Jesse promise not to attack the gangbangers, while the gangbangers are made to promise not to use kids for their dirty work - all parties agree. The gangbangers take this a bit too seriously and kill Tomas, their 11 year old child soldier. Jesse finds out and confronts them. Walt smells the badass potential several blocks away and drives in to steal the glory.
