Doggie Cruger was essentially the Zordon of S.P.D, and he has his own S.P.D Morpher. Zordon never had a morpher of his own, hence we give the second-best position on this list to Space Patrol Delta's Shadow Ranger. Sporting a gloriously dark design with Tarantino-worthy sword skills, it was almost as if Power Rangers had created their own version of Batman when Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger became Power Rangers S.P.D. Shadow Ranger's very first fight also lends well to such Kill Bill homages, battling his way through almost a hundred Krybots and defeating them all in no time. Cruger himself was also a typical leader of war - no mercy and skilled to the bone, the Shadow Ranger arriving on the scene was the sign that the action was ready to ramp up a few levels. As an actual character, Cruger came across as punk rock-Zordon of sorts - someone who was a strong, uncorrectable leader in the fight for justice, but also had his fair share of scars from the past to hide at first, then display them proudly as he took to the battlefield once more.
