This is one of those episodes where both the A and B plots are equally amazing. In one room, Leslie is trying to pull a Bill Clinton and fight her way back into the race for city council. She's supported by her well-meaning but politically inept friends, who try really hard to help but screw up literally everything they can get their hands on. Her journey out onto the ice with not enough red carpet to get her to the laughably tiny podium (while "Get On Your Feet" plays on repeat) is what you might fairly consider a beautiful disaster. What she really needs is Ben to lead her campaign. But after getting fired from his job because of his relationship with Leslie, Ben is spiraling downward quickly stuck at home. His plans for a Low Cal Calzone Zone are hilarious but reflective of a broken man with too much time on his hands, and his attempt at stop motion is just sort of depressing (and, by the way, is the most frustratingly accurate portrayal of what it's really like to make a stop motion film ever). There's no other way to put it, every moment of The Comeback Kid is gold.
