Say what you will about the Simpsons' late teen years (as troubled as those of a real teenager), recent seasons have been a return to form, and season twenty-six has continued that theme. For followers of the show since the beginning, it's not quite a return to golden era Simpsons, but you might say that the show is experiencing something of a bronze age. Episodes are more entertaining than not, and the laugh ratio is slowly going back up. Even the quotability of the show has returned, though not at the level of, say, a Conan O'Brien episode. Regardless, season six has more than a few stand-out moments, from Homer becoming the new Duffman, to one of the best Treehouse of Horror episodes in years, to Judd Apatow's Simpsons script, where Homer regresses to a ten year old through hypnosis and becomes friends with Bart. Then there was a stellar crossover with Futurama, and a visit to the home world of Kang and Kodos as well. All that makes the Simpsons still more watchable than about 95% of the other derivative garbage on television. With that in mind let's take a look at the ten best moments and funniest jokes of the current Simpsons season so far this season!
