Although this episode as a whole is somewhat forgettable, delivering post apocalyptic thrills with The Homega Man and witchy wonders in Easy-Bake Coven, it is made notable by its stand out segment, Fly vs. Fly.

In this story, Bart is genetically spliced with a housefly when both he and the fly enter a teleportation device at the same time. Much like the movie The Fly, which this segment is a parody of, Bart becomes a hideous monster hell bent on hurting Lisa and eating as much sugar as possible.

This story features some real moments of disgusting body horror in the form of a drooling fly head grafted to the body of a little boy.
