Because who doesn't want to believe the cool kid is best friends with the nerd and the actions of one day don't impact you the next though? One thing I must say is probably the most realistic of any show is the often criticized Kelly/Jesse/Tori shake up of '92. Why? How many people did you know in high school that were your best friends one minute and then not the next with no explanation?
