7. Zombie Guts As A Disguise

What seemed like a believable enough manoeuvre by the writers to get the characters out of danger back in Season 1 has now reared its ugly head once again. The old €˜covering ourselves with zombie guts so they don€™t smell us€™ disguise may have worked once but they never should have brought it back. For starters, this escape plan was already pretty weak to begin with.

The zombies are unable to see and hear them? Obviously in a show populated by zombies, the viewers are able to suspend their disbelief to a degree but at a certain point, it becomes groan-inducing. More than that, it€™s just lazy writing. In each instance, they built up suspense, put the characters in danger, but then completely botched the landing by having a cop out to help them escape.

It seems almost foolish to worry about seeing this again and with this tactic having already been used twice, hopefully it won€™t show itself ever again.
