It was recently announced that Disney's Ducktales would be rebooted, with the new series due to be released in 2017. While that's all well and good, what about Ducktales' even funnier spinoff, Darkwing Duck? The show follows the adorable Darkwing's attempts to balance his life as a suburban dad with the activities of his crime-fighting alter ego. So much of what made Darwkwing Duck good was its satirical treatment of superhero tropes. There would be so much more material to mine if the show were rebooted, given the explosion in superhero TV shows and films over the last few years. But they'd have to keep the theme song exactly the same. Any changes would lead to riots.
