10. Ralph And Nelson’s Fathers Aren’t Who They Say They Are

According to The Simpsons Wiki, Nelson's father is soccer coach and former circus entertainer, Eddie Muntz. But because Nelson has many physical similarities to Barney Gumble, it's been theorised that he is the boy's real father. The pair have the same body shape, hair colour, facial structure, and overbite. Even their clothes match! Because Barney has sired hundreds of children through sperm donations (as we saw in the episode, Selma's Choice), the idea that Nelson could be one of his kids isn't that far-fetched.

Similarly, it’s been suggested by Redditors that Ralph Wiggum is the son of Chief Clancy Wiggum's co-worker, Eddie. Since the two have the same distinct hairstyle, viewers believe Eddie had an affair with Sarah Wiggum years ago, causing her to fall pregnant. To ensure Clancy never found out, she passed her son off as his own. One could argue Eddie chose to work with Clancy so he could keep an eye on his son without drawing suspicion.
