6. Tormund Giantsbane

Who Is He? The second-in-command in Mance Rayder's wildling army, and a legendary raider among the free folk because, well, he's an absolute beast of a man who seems to relish the opportunity to fight and kill whenever it presents itself. 

Unlike many wildlings, Tormund is given a bit more to do as a character, and builds a loyal and respectful relationship with Jon Snow, leading to him being present at Hardhome and, presumably, a figure who won't be too happy when he discovers what has happened to the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.
