I just love the fact that Melchett see's his little story as a 'delicate touch'. I honestly believe that General Melchett is the best character Stephen Fry has ever played.

Hugh Laurie at his comedic best, his delivery of the love letter is spot on. Just don't forget that he's all man...with a little animal thrown in! P.S Woof Woof.
