10 Game Of Thrones Episodes That PISSED People Off
The times Game of Thrones just ignored character development and logic.
For years, Game of Thrones was one of the biggest and best TV shows in the history of the industry. Based on George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire saga, the series hit the same heights as the likes of Breaking Bad and The Sopranos.
However, with an eighth and final season that was cut down to just six episodes, it also suffered one of the biggest declines in the history of the industry. Even now, over two years after the finale aired, fans are still reeling from the way one of the greatest ever ended.
That's not to say that it was completely perfect before season eight. Yes, there were very few episodes that missed the mark over the first seven seasons, but there were times when fans got angry, even if it was just at a single scene in an otherwise strong outing.
From jarring cameos, to confusing pacing and story arcs produced in bad taste even for Game of Thrones, there have been times when the TV giant left fans unhappy. It was the passion and expectations that they had for the show that could turn even the slightest thing into something to get pissed off about.
10. Dragonstone (S7E1)
With A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin has created a truly epic, intricate world that any reader almost has no choice but to get lost in. Even outside of the main story arcs, the world around the key characters and narratives feels as well developed as any other fantasy world in all of fiction.
This absolutely transferred from the source material onto the screen. Fans loved Game of Thrones like few other TV shows because they found themselves utterly immersed in the world that had been created.
However, while this was the case for the majority of the show's run, there was one particular scene that completely dragged fans kicking and screaming out of such a mindset in a way no one quite would have expected.
As Arya was making her way to King's Landing to kill the Queen, she came across a group of Lannister men sharing a fire and a song. One of these was Ed Sheeran, a casting choice that made fans everywhere question what was actually going on. He has never been an actor, and his appearance in 'Dragonstone' served no purpose but to confuse the audience.
