10. The Hound & Sansa

The Hound was secretly Sansa’s great protector in King’s Landing, when the Lady of Winterfell was still a little bird, and hostage of the Lannisters.

He saved her from being raped in season two when she was attacked by three savages, and offered to escort her safely home when he walked out on Joffrey and the realm at the Battle of the Blackwater. Sansa refused - a decision she must now regret.

Sandor Clegane, seemingly for no other reason than he’s got nothing better to do and he needs food and shelter (though there are big hints he's changed a lot since his "death") has found himself aligned with Jon and Daenerys. He will arrive in Winterfell to a couple of familiar faces, including that of Sansa.

This reunion would not require grand gestures, just something subtle to show Sansa’s gratitude and the Hound’s pleasure at seeing that his little bird has flown the nest.
