10. 'Homey Dont Play That!' - In Living Colour
Homey D. Clown was a character played by comedian Damon Wayans in the sketch television series, In Living Colour. The character was an ex-con who was being forced to perform as a childrens entertainer in order to satisfy his parole. This obviously does not make for the best guest at a childrens party and Homey would often share too much, show absolutely no enthusiasm and turn down the childrens requests as, Homey dont play that. Homey would look too deeply into any situation he was placed in, even something as simple as gift opening, and ponder over how he was being held down by the system or the man.
