Back in 1959 we were introduced to a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone. Rod Serling's science-fiction anthology show The Twilight Zone was years ahead of its time. The series consisted of unrelated stories depicting paranormal, futuristic, or otherwise troubling or bizarre events. The show was filled with complex and interesting stories that actually made you think (such a rare thing nowadays). Ultimately the show would be best remembered for its surprise or "twist" endings. Every episode seemed to conclude in such a way that nobody saw coming. Today we are going to be counting down some of the best endings of the show's run. Interesting side-note: nearly every entry on this list has been parodied on a Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror segment (which should be a testament to just how iconic this show truly is). Also, it should go without saying but a SPOILER ALERT is in full effect, obviously. So, without further ado these are the ten greatest Twilight Zone endings of all time.
