2. Coca Cola Bears

At some point though, the hippie thing gets annoying, and sometimes you just want to relax and share some holiday fun with cute, white polar bears. Starting in the mid to late 90's, Coca Cola introduced the world to their new furry, CGI yuletide and winter fun ambassadors. I honestly don't know what convinced Coca Cola that people would accept pop drinking polar bears as an advertising campaign (maybe they dropped acid). Whatever it was, it was brilliant. Coke and polar bears are a perfect fit. Each winter, we invite them into our homes, watching and laughing as they participate in a myriad of holiday activities including sledding......buying a tree......and attending Christmas parties...The great thing is, unlike a lot of holiday commercial entities, the Coca Cola polar bear commercials get better every year and have even expanded to show the polar bears engaging in a wider range of activities (although the one where they sit and watch TV seems an ironic step backwards). Still, no matter what they do, every time I see one of those fluffy cute beasts I just want to jump into the TV and give them all a big hug. I won't, however, since they would probably maul me to death.
