At first glance, Barney Stinson is a witty and charming ladies’ man. His list of conquests stretches from here to Timbuktu. However, that entire image falls apart on closer examination.

While his wit and charm are undeniable, there’s little doubt that the man is a sexual predator. He preys on vulnerable women; almost always using lies to get them into his bed. He employs multiple fake identities and pretty tall tales to con his most gullible victims into one-night stands.

While this isn’t explicitly criminal behaviour, it is considered sexual assault in our post #metoo era. Besides, that’s just plain immoral. Do you have to lie about being an astronaut to get laid?
