This Life was one of the seminal shows of the 90s and was responsible for launching the careers of two great TV actors. Jack Davenport has headlined a number of TV shows and had a good supporting actor role in many Hollywood movies. Andrew Lincoln went on to star in Teachers before headlining a little show called The Walking Dead (Heard of it?). Daniela Nardini never seemed to have the same success, which baffled me. I always found her performance as Anna Forbes the highlight of the show you might not have agreed with her character's approach; drugs, sex and aggressive power were all archetypes of her personality, but Anna owned that show. She hasn't completely vanished from our screens. but neither has she shone either. A handful of appearances in the (surprisingly) cancelled Fades and Waterloo Road; apart from that the actress has been consigned to one off appearances over the years. When she should have commanded the screen as much as Jack or Andrew.
