Enver Gjokaj's performance as Victor in Dollhouse was incredible. Not convinced? Go back and watch Dollhouse again. Enver was able to switch from doll-like Victor to any multitude of characters, each vibrantly different from the last. He proved that, alongside Dichen Lachman's Sierra, he was more than up to the challenge of playing brand new and believable character everyweek. His performance as Topher that stole the show for me. I've been waiting and waiting for Enver to take up that starring role he deserved. Yet he seems to have virtually disappeared. He popped up in Dexter, only to die rather quickly. There was a blink-and-you'll miss-him cameo as a New York cop in The Avengers. Then he was in season four of The Walking Dead...his character became the leader of a group of survivors. Great, I thought. This show has a great cast. But no, he didn't make it to the episode's credits. Four years on...I'm still waiting for his starring moment. In the meantime, I guess I'll just have to go back and watch Dollhouse again.
